Last month I was reading one of Diane's posts (Lavender Dreams) where she showed off
some thrifty and very pretty vintage towels she found. The one that caught my eye was personalized with the name Ilse....one of my very best and dearest friends for over 35 years. Even though Ilse moved out of state several years ago, we still keep in touch and can talk for hours about our vintage finds and junking adventures. She loves vintage linens.

When I asked Diane about it, she was kind enough to send it to me along with another towel. I'm happy to say that Ilse loved her personalized towel and I love my red and white apples
and little shells.
Thank you Diane for sharing your sweet vintage towels with us!

Oh, I'm so glad Ilse liked her vintage towel and I'm like you told me about her! It's so wonderful to stay in touch with friends over the years. Sweet hugs!
What a nice gesture from Diane (Lavender dreams) to send you her vintage tea towel to offer to your friend. She sounds like a lovely blogger friend, I will go straight to her blog. this a nice thing to come out of blogging . I never thought I'd enjoy chatting to people all over the world that I now feel I'm beginning to get to know. Enjoy your week.
Wow what a lovely thing to do!Those towels are so pretty Betsy!

Love these Betsy! Diane gives generously!
Isn't Diane sweet!! I have never heard that name before...I thought you were going to tell me it was your friends! I comment on a blog post once that i so liked a bowl and the lady wrote back and said I have two, I will end you one...OK, how sweet are bloggers!

So kind of Diane to share such a perfect treasure! Ilse is not a common name, and to find something she loves with her name on it is so perfect! xx
So sweet!
Imagine finding her name on a towel! Those are adorable and so sweet Diane to send them your way!

What a lovely bit of serendipity to find a vintage linen with an unusual name that matches someone you cherish!
Don't you love that about the blog world! You see something far off, but can get it and send it to a friend.
One of the pluses of the internet.
How sweet of Diane! What are the chances of finding one with such an unusual name?
Love those vinatge styled towels.
I was so surprised to get my personalized
towel in the mail Betzzzz. It is hanging in my kitchen. I smile every time I see it!
Love you!
Love,
Ilse
