Good things happened on the way back from delivering my stack of paper work to the tax man. I had a nice lunch with my mom after the "drop and run," then my car found its way to a couple of antique shops including Magpie Antiques in Ripon, CA. Janet Dyk, the proprietor gave us a nice warm welcome and we both had such a fun time exploring every nook and cranny of this fabulous new shop.

I knew we'd be in for quite a treat the moment we walked in the front door.
Vintage goodies everywhere!
I love this huge cubby packed full of treasures.
This one is a more manageable size...if only I had a place for it.
Isn't she lovely all dressed up in her spoon necklaces, lace and corset? Dress forms are everywhere!
If you're in the area between Stockton and Modesto off of CA99, you don't want to miss

I was going to ask where Ripon was and then you told me. It is a good thing I am never on the road between Stockton and Modesto because I saw a little, or big, something in every photo that I liked. I would love a room with enough space for one of those cubbies.

What a great place! I'm in love with the tall chest with all the drawers and the numbers on it. We have a small town here in Ohio that's filled with shops like this.
I so enjoyed this tour. What a wonderful collection of . . . everything! So beautifully merchandised and appealing to the eye.
Love this place@! I have a perfect wall for those large cubbies....can you imagine how much stuff I could display...sigh!

Places where you feel like you are discovering something are the best. Those cubby things would be so cool to have. Now I want to make some and stuff them full of all the goodies I have lying around. Thanks for the shopping adventure!
