Pick a Number, Any Number

I knew exactly what I was going to create with these bright yellow aluminum number tags as soon as I spotted them.....

It's a necklace countdown.

A handful of bright yellow numbers plucked from a basket while treasure hunting at My Friends and I last month.  They were in pretty good condition and just needed a little cleaning.

Do you have a birthday on the 2nd,  3rd, or 4th?
Mine's on the 1st, but I couldn't find one #1 in the basket.

Or how about an anniversary on the 5th, 6th, or 7th?

One thing is for sure, you won't get lost in a crowd wearing one of these.
What's your lucky number?

What a lovely necklace idea, and such a great way to remember a special date! Glad to hear that you enjoy gardening books--I do, too! I have several garden catalogs that I need to start going through and figure out what seeds I'll get this year. Have a great rest of your week!

ILove your idea. You have such an eye for spotting something most people would pass up. I need to "look" at things in a new way.

Wonderful, sentimental pieces. Oh, and mine's 9. :)

You always have such a creative vision for these bits and pieces! The contrast of the industrial-ish numbers with the delicate silver accents is gorgeous. :-)

My lucky number is 8 although it has nothing to do with anything in particular such as a birthday or anniversary. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure it's lucky ... I guess I just like it.

All my dates are double digit! And, don't know what my lucky # is, but yellow is a very favorite color of mine. :) These are so fun and gorgeous!

I have a fondness for the number nine - no real reason. I like its shape and the sound of the way it is said in the South - with two syllables! The bright yellow would perk up a drab winter's day.

I'm always amazed at what you come across and even more so by what you can do with it! Sigh. So fun to see you create.

You already know what to do with the numbers as soon as you saw them? OMG! Your talent is so superb Betsy. You might even have a career in fortune telling hahaha

As always, I am amazed. I now lack of words to praise your work.

Have a great week!

PS I love the new display pic on your profile. :)
