Some of My 2011 Favorites

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday celebration.  It was sure nice to get away for Christmas this year and enjoy this special time with family and friends.  I spent an extra two days at my mom's house so we could get in some good quality junkin' time together.  Now that I'm back home, I'm trying to get the house put back together again and prepare for another round of visitors.

With everything that's going on this week, I thought it would be a perfect time to share some of my favorite posts from 2011.  Just click on the title to bring you to the original post.  Hope you enjoy them....again.

Your so creative Betsy. I love so many of your projects. The folding ruler Christmas tree was truly awesome, but the chalkboard book was cool too. Oh, they're all great.

Betsy - I did several of your covered hangers with some crocheted pillowcases. They turned out so pretty and went over BIG as gifts! Thanks for this great idea!!!

Hello Betsy! What a way to remind me of all the beautiful posts and art works you made. I love them all but I think the one that struck me most was your "button porn" (if you still remember my naughty comment hahaha) I've never seen sooo many buttons in my entire life with that of your collection.

By the way, if it is not too much to ask, may I invite you join my humble giveaway

Great projects, I remember most of them, I forgot it was you that covered the hangers with old linen, I think I bookmarked it, but I did it again because I remember you gave some good tips on how to do it! Happy New Years to you my friend

Betsy you and Rosemary are my idols of repurposing! Sheer genius with the beautiful items you create! I'm in awe!
I also adored the poist on your Grandmothers crazy quilt. What a labor of love. And how precious to have a picture of her and the quilt together. Thank you so much for getting up on that ladder so we could see all the beautiful details and textures. And if I don't "see" ya before then...HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Vanna
